Information we collect

When you send a requirement, we receive your name, company, email address, optional phone number and the details you provide about the item, quantity, timing, destination and sourcing problem. Emails and WhatsApp messages may also include the photos, documents and correspondence you choose to share.

Our hosting and security providers process technical information such as IP address, browser and device information, request details and security signals to deliver and protect the website. Please share only information relevant to your enquiry, and avoid sensitive personal information.

Why we use it

We use enquiry information to understand your requirement, reply, investigate supply options and coordinate work you agree to. We use technical information to operate the website, prevent abuse and diagnose problems. Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to a mailing list.

Where a legal basis is required, we rely on our legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries and protecting the service; steps you request before a contract, or performing a contract with you, where applicable; and legal obligations for records we must keep. Where processing requires consent, you can withdraw that consent.

Before you send

Form answers stay in the open page while you move between steps. The website does not save a draft to a database or browser storage. Reloading or changing language clears it. Answers are submitted to Sourcewise when you choose Send enquiry; the security check contacts Cloudflare at the review step, before submission.

Email and WhatsApp links open your chosen service. Draft links may include the enquiry and contact details you have entered. That service processes the information under its own terms when you open it. Sending the message remains your choice.

Services involved

Vercel hosts the website and processes page requests and form submissions. Namecheap Private Email delivers and stores enquiry email in our business mailbox. These services also process technical information needed to operate and secure their systems.

Cloudflare Turnstile checks for automated submissions. It processes signals including your IP address and browser information. Cloudflare processes these signals both to protect the website and, under its own privacy notice, to improve its bot detection.

WhatsApp is an optional external contact channel. If you choose it, your interaction is also covered by WhatsApp’s privacy policy. You can use the website form or email instead.

Handling your requirement

Relevant requirement information may be shared with suppliers and specialist partners when needed to investigate or coordinate your enquiry. We limit what we share to the task. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or necessary to address a legal claim.

The form sends enquiries by email. It does not automatically send them to a CRM or an AI model. Our sourcing research can use AI agents; people remain responsible for assessing options and coordinating purchases. The website does not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects solely by automated means.

Cookies and preferences

Choosing a language sets the sourcewise-language cookie for up to one year. It stores the language code so your choice can be remembered. You can change it in the footer or remove it through your browser settings.

The website does not include advertising pixels or audience analytics. Security services may use technical storage needed for their checks; see the linked Cloudflare information. Fonts are served with the website rather than loaded from an external font service.

How long information stays

Enquiry correspondence is stored in our business mailbox. We have not yet set a fixed retention period for enquiries, and the website does not automatically delete those emails.

Relevant retention considerations include whether an enquiry is still active, whether it led to a transaction, and any applicable recordkeeping duties or unresolved claims. You can contact us to request a review or deletion of your information. Some records may need to be retained where the law requires it.

International processing

Sourcewise is based in the United States. Our hosting, security and communications providers operate internationally, so information may be processed in the United States and other countries outside your own. Their linked policies explain their processing locations and transfer safeguards. Contact us for information about the arrangements relevant to your enquiry.

Your choices and rights

Depending on the law that applies, you may have rights to access, correct or delete your personal information, restrict or object to its use, receive a portable copy, and withdraw consent where processing relies on it. You may also complain to the relevant data protection authority.

Contact us using the email above to make a request. We may need to confirm your identity and understand the request before responding. Rights can be subject to legal conditions and exceptions. Required form fields let us understand and respond to your enquiry; phone is optional. You can contact us directly by email if you prefer.

Updates to this notice

We will update this notice as our services and data handling change, including before introducing new CRM or AI processing of enquiries. The date above identifies the current version.
